Healing Protocols |
|
I have long been aware that few rules exist for Spiritual Healing, let alone Zenna. This is not to say such protocols do not exist; any established rules I have found tend to be unwritten and poorly defined.
On the other hand, rules could be taken to extremes and rigidly enforced. I have observed both varieties. Similarly, what is standard practice for one group need not be so for another. I have created below a list of recommended protocols, suitable for any healer, in any profession that is appropriate. Some are based on common sense - others have fairly obtuse reasoning. Each protocol is included because of a particular need at some time. Take from this list only which is of value to you:
- Ask for protection from your guides if unsure of yourself
- Always act in a professional manner
- NEVER, NEVER tell someone they have cancer etc
- Maintain personal hygiene standards
- NEVER EVER make claims to 'cure' - especially cancer
- Accepting money is OK. Keep it reasonable
- NEVER heal if unwell, tired or in a ratty mood
- If giving healing drains you, then stop
- NEVER demean other healers or practitioners (or your clients!)
- Improve your skills e.g. learn basic anatomy, communication , etc
- Attend to your own energy blockages when 'buttons' are pushed
- Learn from all things
- Avoid exhibitionism / theatrics
- Be patient (even miracles can take some time)
- Light a candle when giving healing (it 'cleanses' the energy)
- Avoid incense (burning oils is preferable)
- Avoid being a clone - develop your own style
- Playing music helps - personal choice dictates what style
- Be punctual
- Wipe or wash (symbolically or physically) your hands between clients
- Be spontaneous - never get into a rut
- Nothing is impossible - be aware of your own limiting beliefs
- Look for the GREAT GIFT each healing session offers
- Revise every session to see how it could be improved
- Thank your spirit helpers afterwards
